Small piece of the bottom corner which carries the screw hole next to the headlight has broke off. It was mended previously with some sort of carbon fiber tape. Thinking about a fix, but given the position, and the nature of the screen itself, I am dubious about the wisdom and durability of fixing. Anyone done anything similar? Success rating?

The screws on the 75S screen don't really do as much fixing as the two gaskets underneath. They really only locate the screen.

I'd go for a fix if a replacement screen isn't an option.

If the screen is the dark tinted one you should be able to bond the edges of the break (if it's a clean enough break) and then reinforce it on the rear without the reinforced bit being too obvious.

There's a tendency for owners to over-tighten screen screws to the point where the washers become distorted and that can lead to stress fractures in the screen. So as long as you don't over-tighten the screen, especially where it's been repaired, it should be possible to repair it.

How neat it looks is of course a subjective matter.

Yeah, sounds fair enough to me. Another job on the "to do" list!
