This is a bit scruffy but as it says "usable". Ebay
But why you would want to spray wd40 on the "hinges" is anybodies guess

Hi Markzz.
Good to see you are hanging in there.
A brief word of advice. You'll find lots more feedback to your posts if you tell us a bit more about your bike.
Model?
Colour?
Year?
Miles?
PHOTOS!
Regards your lumpy running, I would be looking for air leaks.
Is the oil filler cap tight?
Are all the blanking plugs on the 3 front TB's and the hose on the rear one?
Is the engine breather hose knackered and leaking?
Leaks on the inlet rubbers? Fiddily job to replace but can be checked first.
Don't let a pannier keep you off the road. Last two Saturdays I've covered 300 on both days doing the Irish Photo Rally.
You'd be welcome to join me if you can get on the road.
If you need some hands on help PM me and I'll see if I can come over and help you.
Meantime I'm heading off to Athlone in the morning for another photo on  my 84 K100RT that I bought for £380 last year. Easy.

Glad you are sorted for tyres....I always put grip and wet weather properties ahead of long life. Have to with our weather. Having said that it is so so easy to change a rear wheel its not an impossible idea to have a rear tyre more suited to the hot dry weather of the last few weeks.

There are a number of different types of panniers and they seem to have different mountings. My brackets incorporate the rear indicators and both brackets were broken when I was hit from behind.

The panniers are large capacity, take a full face helmet as does my top box. I plan on keeping the top box because it is quickly demountable with the top box key and is extremely useful.

Krauser told me my panniers were K1 type and I did see a sticker with this label inside them.

Hi markzz.
Based on the additional info about happening when warm, I would be thinking of the Hall effect sensors.
They live behind the 'T' shaped cover on the front of the engine, so easy to get at. They trigger the ignition. Not unheard of for them to play up when warm.
If you do a search on the forum you will hear from others who have gone before you.
Basic way of checking them is to take off the cover and heat them with a hair dryer on a cold engine  without starting.
Then start up and see if the fault is there.
Replacements always on eBay.
Need to get you on the the road for the get together that Olaf has in mind.

Markzz,

You need to get up and running!!!

We are getting impatient for a little get together. You have GMcQ and Comberjohn for excellent company up there.

My K came from Darren 08 [he still has a bike]....who hailed from Lisburn. Bjorn is due back from holidays soon and 88KE is up for a meet. So is Corkboy, as is Sgmayhew, add Ringfad and Tom Foley apologies for any omissions.

Add HoverK100.
