Hi, I'm looking to swap out the standard system and replace with a Performance Sporty unit that will let the Engine breath better, increase in Hp, and will have a nice loud throaty note to it. Can anyone recommend a relatively inexpensive unit? don't seem to be much around for K100s. I could only find one complete MAC exhaust System on Ebay for $US350, are these good, and does the price sound Ok? Thanks.

You can get a Motad muffler from UK. There are adds on Oz ebay sometimes, about $450 landed here. On Oz fleabay there is a staintune muffler for a K75 which would need mods at the inlet end to suit a K100.
Usually its just keep the ears to the ground and hope the buffalo heard don't trample you.

Yeah the New England Highway from Yarraman to wallangarra is crawling with the buggers. Warwick patrolls the stretch and now have 8 cars going 24/7 in the area which only goes half way to Toowoomba

Good find, Jeff. I was also searching for a muffler for my K75 customization all winter. A couple of weekends ago, I found a NOS MAC Whispertone /5 style muffler at a part swap meet for $60. I feel I can easily adapt it to the K75 header and muffler mount. It's a great visual design clue for my project.
