My k100rs came with grips that look like a home-made cobble of electrical tape and pipe insulation, and the seasonal heat is causing the tape to slide around, exposing my gloves to sticky residue. I searched the forum to see what others were doing, and found this picture, posted by a 'guest' some time ago. The poster stated that they are OEM, available in heated or unheated.

part nbr, price for these grips? Dscf0810

These grips are similar to what was on my r1150r and I really liked them, so I'm looking forward to installing them on my K. Can anyone help with a price/part nbr. If not, I suppose I could show the dealership the picture, but I'd like to order online to save some money. Thanks for any input!

That's a piccie of the handlebars on my bike when I was gone from the forum for a while. Those grips are part number '32 72 1 458 395' left, and right hand side is '32 72 1 458 396', otherwise you'll get two 'fat' internals and they won't fit the left hand side of the 'bars. They were commonly fitted to Oilheads and later K1100, etc. I use 'em on all my Airheads, my R1150RT & K bike.
Cheers.

Thank you TWB. I'm considering bar end weights as well - what are you using in that pic? It looks like there's a color-matched o-ring in there, & I'd probably go for black or blue if it's an option.

They're bar end weights and cruise control from Marker Machine in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

I'm using the heavy duty version which thread inside the 'bars.
