Does anyone know of a shop that can dynamically balance a motorcycle front wheel in Western Sydney?  The guy spinning it by hand on an axle is not good enough. My custom 15" front wheel is shaking the steering a bit at 110kmh which is not very convenient.

Castle Hill Motorcycles fitted my tyres for me and they seem pretty well balanced, but I dont know if they have a balancer or done by hand.

CHM

Bit reluctant to recommend them. While I had good serivce and prices for my tyres, the guy has been stuffing round one of our members, Mozza, with clutch and gearbox issues for over 6 months.

Leave that decision up to you.

I might try that then Rick.  Chivos in Granville used to be able to dynamically balance bike wheels, they had bothered to sort suitable adapters but the place burnt to the ground, last time I was there it was just roll it on an axle and guess.

At the moment the steering damper is masking it.  The bike is very rideable without the damper and the steering is much lighter, except there is very bad wheelshake at 110, it is the wheel not the steering slapping about.

You could try Alderton Motorcycle repairs 2/10 Long street Smithfield Ph 02 96092889.
The front rim on my old K1100 had an encounter with a huge pothole that I thought couldn't be repaired. But Aldertons rolled it so strait that I couldn't see where the rim had been damaged and it balanced up spot on. I posted the rim from Guyra and I had it back within a week. Great Service.
