Very Happy Hello all,

I´m Izzy, sorry about my English, it´s quite rusty I lived in Ireland for 6 years but it was a long time ago...Embarassed

I ´m from Madrid, Spain and I love classic bikes! My ride is an 86´ K75...

I don´t know much about mechanicall stuff but I do know things about electronics, instruments and electricity in general.

Even though I´m quite old to be an student (36yo) I´m on my last year of Industrial Engineering (specialiced on Electronics and Automation )and I want to make my bike an important part of my final Project.

The idea is to gather all data from the bikes sensors using Arduinos and use it to make fuctional a very complete OEM instrument panel for the day to day use and add an Android BT device to present SCADA information, log data and probably use it as Crazy Frog suggested as a Diagnosis tool...

Any help/suggestions ´d be apreciated

Regards

Izzy

Welcome Izzy.
All that technology is way over my head (I still can't leave home without paper maps), but good luck with the project.

Hi Izzy.

I've just come back from a holiday in Sevilla and Malaga. Can't wait to go back!

Don't worry about your English, it's way better than my Spanish!

Have you thought about using Raspberry Pi?

I'm glad you enjoyed yor Spanish holidays!!

I thought about raspberry pi, but from the hardware point of view any old Android phone will have all I need... BT, touchscreen, GPS...
