Most everything on the 1985 parts bike I bought have been a bit iffy. The gauge housing had been hit and the mounting brackets broken, I tried it anyway using the mounts from my defective 1986 unit and it works like a charm, the BMW Gods are shining down on me...

Now to figure out what am I going to do with the complete Supertrapp and the complete Luftmeister exhausts that came with this parts bike...

I repacked the Luftmeister and put it on my K100, it is really not obnoxious at all, decent tone, it just doesn't fit the plans for my bike.

I have never heard a Supertrapp on a K100 so I have no idea what it would sound like.
