Hello all, yesterday after start pump of my K 100 8V became noisy even the tank was full. Engine doesnt work well between 1500 - 2500, but from 3000 OK. Noise from pump didnt dissapear totaly, it sounds like tank was empty?
Is it time to change weak pump, or could be something else (fuel filter is new)? Any suggestions?
Thanks

Charlie, probably bad fuel from gas station in my neighborhood known for water and mud in gasoline (56 instead 95 octanes). I was in a hurry.
I have 6-7 ltrs remained in tank so its better to wait few days and fill new fuel 98 somewhere else.

As a possible temporary fix, try using some dry gas to absorb the water.  If the station is known for dispensing mud, you might consider changing the filter and the sock on the fuel pump
