Hi gang (of middle aged men it appears!) My warning/flashers (all indicators flashing together) has stopped working although normal indication works fine. Does the K have a special relay for this function or a designated fuse? Answers on an E-card please! Thanks. PS As much as Bert has worked hard on a wiring diagram, don't expect me to read it! My head hurts when I try and I usually fall over! affraid

Yes there is a fuse, but it is the same for the flashers. If it was burned, you would not have flashers at all.
There is no relay but simply a switch connecting to the flasher unit.
The switch connection goes under the tank (#12 here)
Check this connection first, then ..... check the 4 ways switch.

I had this - the wires on the back of the switch had corroded and dropped off. The Hazards short out the two outer pins on the connector, try that first and if that is fine, it is the switch/wiring.

Repaired them today. Yep, it was a broken earth wire behind the switch. Thanks for the advice chaps.

Hi Guys, on a similar problem. My K has no speedometer readout, and the warning light is constantly engaged. Where do you suggest I look? Checked Speedo Cable and the wires as above...not resolved......help

Don't mean to be too vague but it might be worth checking through some of the posts regarding the instrument console itself as there are a few comments regarding the circuitry in the console or broken gears in the speedo unit.

The other simple thing to check is the connection to the instruments themselves which is just one large plug which may have dirty contacts.

Regards,

Phil

The warning light may be a defective bulb, or a bad break switch or... a defective bulb monitoring unit.

For the speedo, check:

or
