You have a K. Hope and patience are mandatory qualities.

This is where I was 2 weeks ago. I have more pictures of the tear-down but for now I am happy to have finally posted.
I installed my new clutch cable today and took the old girl (I am thinking of calling her Brunhilda) up and down the street for a test drive. Most things seem OK. Some dash worries like speedo, gear selector don't work and the red triangle light won't go out. But she started right away and stayed upright. Tomorrow I will licence her and go for a decent romp. 29c today and tomorrow. Yeah!!!
i may finally have a picture Img_1522

Brake lights and rear view mirrors are only if you think "what's behind you is important"!

slightly paraphrased from Franco (rip Raoul Julia) in the Gumball Rally. Who remembers the crazy guy on the Kawi 2-stroke?
