I'm disassembled my K100 to have the fairing repainted. Now I'm putting it back together and I have a few items that I'm having trouble determining which section of the bike this clear tubeing belongs to? Thanks for any help!

Clear tube - where does it belong on my K100? <a href=Clear tube - where does it belong on my K100? 20140419" />

I would guess battery breather.........but it's a bit away from the fairing.

It is the battery breather tube. The one end connects to the battery. Where does the other end connect? Or does it just hang loose and is an air vent?

You find a small hole at the top of the gearbox, left side of the battery carrier.

This hole goes through the casting, and the hose then hangs down between
the rear wheel and the silencer.

It's 2014. You should be using a sealed no maintenance battery and have no need for that.
