Who wants or needs a set of factory Marzocchi front forks which will directly fit all K1, K100-16V and K1100RS, as well as K1100LT with perhaps light mods? I bought them with the idea of swapping them in part or in their whole to my earlier K100RS 8V so I could use a larger disc brake diametre and a 17" front wheel. But the shipping cost to OZ is prohibitive due to their volumetric size/weight. They came from a 1991 K100RS 16V which showed 60K on the odo. I have not taken them apart. The fork legs are straight as measured by placing a flat plate of glass across the exposed portion of the tubes and detecting any signs of rocking, which would, of course, show misalignment.

Bear in mind the offset is significant (quicker steering - couldn't we all use a bit o' that!?) if directly retrofitting them to an earlier 8V bike, but nothing machining/modifying of the original triple clamp bores (to 41.3mm) wouldn't solve, along with locating yourself a fork brace and two-piece mudguard if fitting them to a model with a one-piece front mudguard.

The ignition switch and lock cylinder (but no key!), solidly-mounted handlebar saddles, axle, collar and screw, and wheel spacers are all included and the paint is in good nick with one insignificant scratch. The LH side ABS sensor mount point is there too.

I reckon this is reasonable but make an offer if you think not. Gimme US$250 plus postage/shipping.

Clearing out the garage this arvo and noticed that the mudguard centre shroud, three-way brake hose distributor/holder (which is actually the fork brace) and two of the three rubber brake hoses for the Marzocchi forks are also there so they're all included too.

It's just about a turnkey project!

Yes, but I'm now back in OZ and will be back near Seattle sometime in October. Talk then if you're still keen. Cheers.
