Seen it on ebay, along with his other 'scrambler'. Way overpriced and (what you can't see here) very poor workmanship disguised by paint. He made the mistake on ebay of providing closeups.

Boy, is that ugly and overpriced.
Friend of mine has just bought a 2003 K1200RS with 15k miles and a little fall over damage for £200 less.

At least that one is pristine and original and from the photos looks the business. I could see someone paying big money for that.

I'm inclined to agree with Olaf.
Something it's only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it.
Don't know about prices elsewhere but that's a mint K75 with low miles. There are plenty of old nail twins like the R65 going for similar money because they're 'classics'. As for the R45...
My point is that K's are moving towards classic status also. The days of picking up an everyday working K for a few hundred pounds are fast disappearing. Embarassed
A clean K is valued on it's appearance and usability regardless of age and that one is a good working bike.
What kind of modern Jap bike could you buy for that money?
Sorry chaps, I think it's a sign of getting older.
Y'know, night out at the pictures, fish supper and change from ten bob!

I agree that it is one of the best K75s that have appeared on UK ebay for some time. But then to go for a bike like that I would need a) the money b) a garage to store it in out of the weather and c) the luxury of not riding it through the winter road crud that currently covers my faithful (cheap) steed and d) hard negotiating skills 'cos I still think it is overpriced.
