what do you think

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1991-BMW-K75-750-CHEAP-BIKE/271764004294?_trksid=p2047675.c100011.m1850&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D29317%26meid%3D7e0927b3ec9c42089913756dbfbf62bd%26pid%3D100011%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D10%26mehot%3Dpp%26sd%3D191496098312

This is a T, with the low seat and OEM windscreen.(very effective and not noisy)

Think they were only built for the US market.

Makes me feel like going to the UK for a ride holiday.

Strange red panniers and esp since there is a 205 pound K100 on e bay with red panniers too.

Hey am I missing something here? I haven't heard of a K75T
I think you'll find it's just a base model K75 with a low seat and screen.
Those screens can still be purchased from Motobins ect: That screen goes on the base models K100/75

K75T was a US only -86 -88, had a K100 headlight cowl, and windscreen, panniers,
top box and crash bars as standard.
The one for sale is std. basic euro with OEM windscreen and panniers added.

Well I didn't know that, it seems the US have always got to have  something a little different.
But it still just looks like a basic K to me.

The K100/II is a euro only, that makes it even.

The K75T was actually done by BMWNA and didn't come from the factory as a T.

That one is just a K75 as the basic K100 was. The c was dropped from the production range I think about the time the RT came along and then shortly after was re-introduced as a Basic K75

Yes, and that is why you don't find this model in the parts catalogue.

In both -87 and -88 you could buy both the C and the Basic, RT came on the market in -89.

The T had a slide on seat -not hinged. Most distinctive thing is those rubber tank thingmys and no side covers (like the K100/2)

If you have seen a K75T with a low seat it have been changed later on,
as it wasn't available in -86 and -87 when the K75T was put together.

But the basic K75 had the low seat as standard from -88.

On the K100/II it is, it also came in -88 and is also partly the reason to that it has a K75 tank....beside using the tank mounts for the radiator cowl.

Hey WwasI,

This one is listed in Cairns.  Fly up, ride back.

http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/parramatta-park/motorcycles/bmw-k75s-sport-road-bike/1072037020

I think it may have been listed about a 18 months ago at $2,000.  I did consider looking at it but bought one which was local to me.

Looks reasonable.

The 75T is the same as the one I rented from Stefan last year.  Red, low seat and Perspex screen.  I checked the VIN number when I returned and it was listed as 11/1990 manufacture.

My only criticism of the T, is the low seat.  It is only a problem if you have long legs and long years.  For us old folk bending your knees at an angle of less than 90 degrees can get a little sore on long rides.  The screen is excellent in cold weather.

Apart from that it is a 75 and I love 75s. I would swap you the low seat for a normal one, if you brought it back.

Dave.

I think you're not missing anything! I'm new to BMW K bikes, but mine it's a 1987 K75 from europe and has the same windshield!

BTW, where in the ebay description sais its a K75 T?

It says K75Type and that is where the T has come into it as a misread.

Apparently the seller haven't found out that the keyboard has a spacebar yet.
Should have been: Manufacturer:BMW   Model:K75   Type:Motorcycle.

yes, can see the listing error but isn't it still a T . , because this is a T and it looks similar - no side covers - rubber ducky thing around tank etc
