Could someone please tell me what the Violet (purple) wire does on the 1100 ignition switch. I am trying to run a K100 ignition switch off an 1100 loom and would like to make it plug and play but am not sure if it will work if I just ignore the purple wire.

The violet wire is for the radio. Connected when the ignition is on and off,
disconnected when the steering lock is engaged.
