Ok, I'm all out of commentary but here are a few photos.
My K1100 packed up on Thursday night.

RickG parked with his mates in Rylstone

Historic old stone Court House in Rylstone.

RickG appears gobsmacked at the size of my skones.

Our usual stopping point in Oberon. Too cold last Friday at 3degC at lunch time so we went inside to dine over the road.

Arrival at lodgings in Goulburn.

The K1100 sub group after cleaning the frost and bugs from the bikes on Saturday morning (hotel towels work great). RickG doing his version of a flash.

As arranged the previous evening, meeting up with RT and Indian036 for the run to Cooma.

Sunrise at the rally site on Sunday morning.

My tent is actually dark green in colour. I remembered to put the chair inside with me overnight.

Forum member Corro and his family brought a recording thermometer with them just for the hell of it. The red needle is the overnight low. When I checked it after the sun had been up a while the temp had skyrocketed up from -12C to -10C. Certainly the coldest night that I had spent outdoors in my life.

Probably why the guys looked like this.

Rosskko decided to do something about it and trudged off into the frozen landscape to collect some more fire wood. That lonely figure in the centre is him. Well done mate!

A couple of views of the site.

RickG & I headed off around lunch time and lunched in Tumut then headed north for an overnight stop in Cowra. The Lachlan Valley Hotel was basic but reasonably priced and ensuite facilities. Worth checking out if you need an overnight in Cowra.

Rick & I parted ways in Cowra with Rick heading for a meet up with Stan in Dubbo and I went towards home via Blayney, Bathurst, Sofala and Rylstone. This was the last fuel up before arriving home at 2:45pm yesterday.

Good trip all round. Glad I had the K1100 for the prevailing weather conditions.
Cheers
