3 jobs to go to before I get to ride the k100 again. Exhaust mod, paint and sort the brakes after replacing the line between the master cylinder and head stock.
Brakes have been wrecking my head for the last 2 days. I borrowed a bleeding kit and pumped away for ages no drop of fluid in res. Tonight I got hold of a large syringe, and tried to reverse bleed by emptying the reservoir and pushing from the caliper. One caliber started dripping fluid out onto disk, on the other side I couldn't get fluid to travel. Any one tips or tricks.
Bleed a few different bike clutch and brakes but never had grief like this before.

Not sure what you mean by this:

'One caliber started dripping fluid out onto disk' ?

Out of the nipple or the piston? Otherwise, what you're describing sounds like a classic case of dirt in the return port in the master cylinder. There's two holes in the m/c piston; the return port is the one closest to the instrument cluster. The other possibility is that the inner seal in the m/c has gone which will allow fluid backwards and forwards but won't pump any fluid.

Any other ideas, guys?

Fluid was leaking out around the nipple. Maybe I had it open too much and fluid was forced out the thread? The 2 holes you speak of... in the end of the master cylinder in the black hole?

Thanks Inge.

Yes, to the nipple question. I'd be thinking seriously about overhauling the m/c, but that's just me. The information in Inge's link may work for you, but bear in mind that the coloured line drawing is of a tandem master cylinder and not the single m/c found on bikes. The principle is the same and it does show where the return port is relative to everything else. Sort of... just look at the bluey-green part and ignore the ladies bit.

Nail on the head again. Thanks folks.  Took the master cylinder apart and it was black with dirt. Seals were in perfect condition so just have it a massive clean.  Wire brush bristle to clean the tiny hole and compressed air to blow it out.  Came up nice.  Reassembled, reversed bleed the system and the brakes are better than ever.  Got out for a pre paint spin around the town today.  Loving it.  Thanks again for the help
