Hello to all K100 forum members,

I'm from Australia in an area just below Sydney called Wollongong.

I have recently found a fondness for K100's. I've always liked BMW motorcycles but never owned one. After searching around the different bikes I might purchase as a project, I came across some K series bikes. I have found one by the looks of it but I won't have it in my hands till maybe November/December. I can't wait! I thought I'd join this forum as there is a wealth of great information and possibly meeting up with some like minded K owners someday.

Cheers

Beemer

Welkome Beemer, there are some inmates who live down your way and I'm sure they will be along soon to announce themselves.

The Krew here in Oz are a great bunch and we have quite a lot of get togethers and trips throughout the year. Watch the threads for rides and you'll be made most welcome whenever you can meet up with us.

Cheers

Welcome from the Northern Territory!

I must warn you these guys are tops when it comes to being helpful, camaraderie and know how. If you can you should join them for the Rosskko Ride even if you only make a day trip or one evening of it. There is a story behind it and you would get a good welcome.

A few of the guys have made it up here and we love their company. We love visitors coming here.

As for the Ks, well, have a look at the home page on what to do if you have just bought one. Don't be afraid to ask any questions, every one is very helpful and there is a huge amount of technical know how spread around the forum. At the same time we all do enjoy some nice banter and chat.

Hello from Oz 212902 cheers brickrider 2 ...  what we seem to see is the enthusiasm from small pockets of vastly different countrys just getting together and voicing their optimism   ...but getting things in perspective the flying brick is probably  a very small interest group in regards to the population numbers in your homeland

I say good on you guys for being there and keeping the enigma of the brick going strong, sharing the passion and being part of this great forum .

Jeez thanks for making me feel so welcome. It makes me think I should have got involved years ago! Hello from Oz 112350

I read the topic regarding the Rosskko ride that was spoken about previously. I'd love to tag along but it might have to wait till the following ride as I won't have possession of the bike in time. The other drama is that thing called work. It seems to always get in the way. I have to work on the Sunday....

Thanks for the tips. Once I get her I'll be checking it out and sure to be searching/asking for some more tips and info.

I'm really liking this place....

Thanks.

I will start to put a quota on these invasive Aussies. Do you have a Chinese factory building selling K bikes faster than I can register the OZ K riders?  Very Happy
Welcome Beemer.

You must be a smart man.... You choose the right bike and the ride group to belong to.

Ha there you are mate! Keeping everyone on their toes by changing your handle  Cool

Top forum this huh? I'm going to sign up for the Snowy ride, think it's in March but will have a look now. Hope you're free that weekend - if so it will give us a deadline to get your new K fit and registered!

Thanks again for finding my K, I can't wait to get stuck into it but can see I'm going to be frustrated by time and money.  I'll start up my project thread soon to garner the collective wisdom on here.

Looking forward to riding with you mate!  Very Happy
