Looks like I have a bad fuel pump.  I swapped tanks out with another, and the fuel pump works flawlessly.  That tells me it's getting the connections it needs to on the bike itself.  Removed the bad fuel pump, and it is completely seized up.

I know this topic has been gone over before, but I can't find any recent threads on it.  I've found a few ebay listings that are very cheap (which should be a call to warning I'm sure).

I'd like to get something that is as drop in ready as possible, WITHOUT shelling out crazy amounts of cash to a dealer.  I'm hoping a drop in ready version can be had less than $100 USD.  Has anyone had good experiences with a particular brand/model of pump?  Links of where you purchased would be a big plus.

Thanks all!

A while back I installed a Japanese-made Kemso, purchased from eBay for under $30.00, in my R1150RT. It hums away down there quietly and does the job as intended. They're now just under $36.00. It's a replica of the OEM in size and with o-rings, sock filter, clamps and hose included. Hell, for under $30.00 buy two for your K and have a spare in case the first one dies a death prematurely. Just be sure it's the correct diametre for the rubber damper, or an appropriately sized sleeve is included.
I think you've already found the answer to your question.

As a experiment I have been against the advice of some been running a Chinese copy of the OEM pump cost $36.00 Au. I went with a supplier that also manufactures, hoping that this would be better. where to buy fuel pump now? 610153 I do however carry my old pump that has been cleaned, lubed and sealed in the tail. Be aware that all pumps are not created equal and some are dodgy. My pump so far has had no issues and has been installed for nearly 12months. http://www.motobrick.com/index.php/topic,10054.msg85798.html#msg85798

Good list, Rick, but 90% of those vehicles never made it to the US.

Given pumps fail with debris, it might be worth checking this out, I know second hand but in your price range.
