Hello,I'm new to the forum.
I have a problem with my K100,it's been layed up for about a year,i charged the battery up and started the bike,it fired up but went straight to 5,000 rpm and wouldn,t come down.
The choke cable appears free as well as the throttle, there's fresh petrol in it.
Any thoughts/advice would be welcome.

P.S it was fine before the lay up.

Something must be 'holding' the throttle bodies open. Check for evidence of mice at play in the intake system or just linkage that is binding.
