Has anyone successfully fitted a generic rear brake master cylinder to a K75 ABS. If yes I would welcome any advice.

There are a few that have done it and there is no reason for it not working just be sure to get a 12 or 13mm so as to keep the same braking effort.

Using the forum's search engine is suggested for queries about options. In many cases the subject has been covered extensively and you'll find any number of ideas there. The link above is just one example. I simply typed in 'rear brake master cylinder then followed the trail.

Good luck with your search.

There is a thread on replacement master cylinders on Motobrick.com.  I posted photos of my K75RT ABS install on that thread.  So far  I have done the retrofit on two ABS bikes, the RT and a 16v K100RS.  Easy peasy, can be done in an afternoon.

The RT master cylinder now has about 15,000 miles and works perfectly.  K100 only has 2,500 so far.

My retrofit starts at reply#29.

Many thanks, that is very helpful. I've ordered exactly the same replacement cylinder so will just copy your method.
