The pic is my mates R65 sent through today

I had been on his case to get it going. We went for ride - it was going fine for about 2 hours and he was on his way back to Sydney from Wollongong. Approaching Bulli... loud noise ... side of the road and up into the ute.

Not all bad ... he's now thinking of upgrading to 900cc - assumes it will be about the same price.

He has been unable to get the valve out of the piston and told him to get it framed and onto the wall ... Burt Munro style ("sacrifices to the god of speed")

I've smacked a few valves against pistons and left a trench or two behind, but never done that!
