I picked up an 85 K100RS and so far have none on the big fairings on it, changed the seat out, new exhaust, and new rear suspension.  I'm trying to wire in a new LED brake lights/signal combo but I can't get the strip to change from the idle brightness to the brighter brake light.  I know it works because when I connect them together it brightens up but when I engage the brake when the key is turned over it doesn't brighten.  Anything I'm missing?

you need the kill switch turned on too.
