Standard K (Dan) and I did a minor refurb on his instrument pod. He wanted to change the backlight globes to LED's but wanted to keep them green. A local company OzLeds sells green LED's for $14.20 each. I advised him to just get white LED's and we changed them to green by removing the green condoms on the OEM globes and fitting them onto the LED's. Unlike Kermit's song it is easy being green.

Nice!  But, wow, LED's are expensive in Oz!  I've been getting mine from Super Bright LED's for under $3 each.

You can't get green from Jaycar but you can  now get them cheaper online. However Ozled is still $14.20 ea so that comes to $71.00 for the five required. Due to the cost I went for red around $15.00 for five.
