I know that .75 has done it, but what are the gotchas? There's both lower halves and the rad cover on ebay uk for £40. They're paint code 691; I accidently bought a pair of K100LT side panels in code 691 so I'm aware of exactly what the difference is between that and LFB's 606 Alaska Blue. I reckon I could live with the lower half of the fairing in 691 and the upper part in 606. It would do well to confuse people, especially if I put some go-faster red stripes on it Fitting a K1100LT fairing to a K100.... 44271

Edit: Nope; .75 didn't fit a set of K1100LT panels... Ah well. Next time I'll look properly at his avatar. RS ones, are they?

The main body sits about 40mm further forward than the K100 so the K1100 antlers are needed along with the mounting brackets.
The inner lower panels are also different and then if you want the electric screen the inner dash part is also different and rare. the K1100 instrument mounts to the antlers and not the top triple clamp. The glove boxes and lids are the same for both models.

Hi Dai

I converted a 1100LT to RS format (now sold) and have most of the original LT parts left over. You are welcome to them if you want. These are all in the Metallic Black colour. I also should have all the rare parts Rick mentions and all the brackets. A large box can be dropped at your door on my next visit.

Simon: I'm trying to avoid getting the rattlecans out but it looks as if that isn't going to happen. I've already sanded back a complete set of RT bodywork, so I guess I'll just have to wait for warmer weather and get on with it.

Rick: I know exactly what you're talking about because you reminded me of a K1100LT I did a major overhaul on about ten or so years ago. As it happens I have two electric screens, both picked up cheap on ebay because the wiring was a mess. I needed to replace the springs on one but that was the sum total of additional repairs. I found Bert's conversion for the RT but as LFB already has an LT fairing bracket on it to make room for the twin headlights, I don't need to awaken Mr. Angle Grinder. If by 'inner dash' you mean the one that holds two additional instruments, now I know why I couldn't figure out why it doesn't fit.

So... if anyone needs an 1100LT inner dash in vgc complete with the metal plate but missing about 10mm off each side of the front lip, PM me. Yours for what I paid - £20 + P&P.

By the inner dash I mean the black plastic panel that holds the map light.

As I try to follow most topics to become more knowledgeable about the K100 series I am sometimes at a loss for some acronyms, abbreviations and motorcycle models.
I know the models LT, RT and RS but what is a LFB?

It comes with twin headlights instead of the usual one.
