Hi I have got a radiator cover for my k100rt to fit the side parts of the cover there are small brackets with rubber bungs one on each side of the bracket has a hole one side has a slot for adjustment my question is which way do the brackets fit hole to the front or slot to the front

Do you mean the bracket that goes on to the frame, under the top main fairing? If yes there are two welded nuts on the frame, eaither side of the radiator above the frame top engine mounting. That bracket is more or less upright and the rubber mount is horizontal, under the top fairing. Its slightly fiddly to fit.

The nuts are not welded to the frame. They are loose and drop into these rectangular pockets on each side of the frame.
