Hi, mike here,
I have been following the forum for a bit now and I will be completing a purchase of an older K bike in the next month and a half. If you see what other bikes I have, you may be wondering why?
Well one, they kick butt, I had always wanted one and finally I will be using this one for a special project, which at this present time, I do not wish to divulge.
There will be no bikes harmed in this project and when I can share ( when you ask? When I get the bike in five weeks).
The bike hasn't been started in over 6 years, been in a garage, which is a good thing, but will need a lot of things. I will post my concerns in another post to hear you opinions and knowledge.

Thanks.
Sorry to be vague, but I have been working on getting this bike now for about two months. It is special.
Mikey

Thanks for the replies.
I realize that "not divulging " what I am going to get could be seen as being arrogant, but I am really not. I saw this bike, it needs a good if not great deal of work, what it has for me is something I have been wanting for awhile now..
Pictures to be posted upon pickup of the bike.

Even I have baited breath on picking this one up.

Greetings Mike and welcome to the forum you say "If you see what other bikes I have, you may be wondering why?" I never wonder why anybody has many bikes as one can never have enough just look at my list. I may have to build another shed soon. Smile

Thanks everyone. Here is a small part of number one of the big http://houston.craigslist.org/mcy/2477787081.html
This is where I am going. I saw a side car setup .. Flexit.. Leaner type.. Which is oh so kewl. But the bike part hasn't started for around 7 years.. This bike runs. The one with the link.. So I have a switcher just in case. Trade out the bikes if the other is in need of more work than I want.. But ya never know.
The bike is a decent looker, maybe a whack on the front as the fairing is pretty much yo yo dyned. Cracked pretty bad.still there tho.

The other bike is very complete, condition unknown tho. That part will have to wait awhile until I get back from the travels.
The sidecar is complete as well, the whole thing has been in storage for many years.. Here's to hoping this will go well.
In the end, I will have one bike too many.. Is there such a thing? Never..
Here's to getting on the old ne bike and riding it around before I leave the country.
Thanks for the replies, I enjoy reading up on you guys and how you keep the bricks flying!

Oh, I really wanted one of the scout type fairings, and ow the aren't made anymore.. Couldn't we get these guys to make up a limited number?
Gotta be some interest there..
Anyway.. Thanks!
Looking forward to wrenching and riding this one
Mikey

Well, if you leave your trip to NZ for about 20 years, I'll be running a franchise of "Leicester Croman KBike Rentals" here in NZ after his rentals take off over there in the UK Cool I'll need something to do in my retirement....
