Hi all , I've been ghosting for a couple of yrs and think this forum is awesome so decided to register.

Circumstances saw me with time and on my K to meet some of the Oz forum members at Araluen.

These guys are the real deal, fountains of knowledge, buckets of humour and wit, and serious hard riders ! Multiply that by the global contributers and here is a fantastic resourse for the de "Brick".

Gordo, welcome to the forum, it was great to meet you and a nice surprise to see an unknown but fellow K bike rider at Araluen. Consider the ride North next year when we sort out the details of our plan to hold another gathering. If you need a place to stay round here I'll bet we can find an extra bed for you. I'm sure a Taswegian (or any of us, for that matter) could use a bit of extra sunshine in Queensland's late-Summer or Autumn of 2012.

Thank you all for the welcome. Having a rest day in Aireys Inlet (GOR ) after 6days on the road , but 'ain't gettn home tonight .! Spirit booked out till 13th. Typical of me not to have checked, like coming from the wrong way eh Alby ? Soo... what to do? Load up in the morning and ride some more. Blakeys been running the country just fine , sure he'll manage without me for a few more days !

If I had my way, you'd all be riding red K100's (panniers attached permanently), free DeoxIT and 4 day weekends!

Include 75's, 5 days and you got my vote.
