Hello everyone,

Just bought my first BMW - a 1991 BMW K100RS - and I already have the "Beemer bug." bounce Just got my motorcycle license this summer and have only ridden it a couple of times but already love it. I'm from Salisbury, NH - a small town in Central NH, about 20 minutes north of Concord. Used to have a snowmobile but got rid of it because it was getting old and there was too maintenance for too little riding.

I already found this forum very useful (specifically for seeing how some of the gps systems were moutned) and want to thank all members for their contributions and guidance. Surprised--o:

Hope to see you all on the road!

With the RS fairing, you can still ride the K in the rain. Only your helmet, fingers and tippy toes get wet - as long as you are moving.

I haven't tried riding in the rain yet but it's good to know that it's minimal, just need to get some rain gear for myself in case I get caught out there.

Thanks, Halo!
