1990 BMW K100LT 120K
Finally spun up the front wheel off the bike to verify an annoying vibration source is the front wheel out of round.
Question.
Is it worth having the rim straightened or should I just replaced it?
Seems to be a pot hole incident by previous owner. side deflection is 3-4 MM
Anyone recommend a Halifax area shop that could do the work? OR
Anyone have a wheel to sell?

A company in Quebec straightened my Brother's front wheel for about $100. I will try to find the name (I believe this is a scrap yard in Ste Foy and they have a press to do the job). After the repair, the wheel was running true and it was no need to add weights to balance it.
BMW wheels are soft and easily fixable.

Thanks for the reply Bert.

Have done some more digging locally and found Rods Machine Shop 114 Wright Ave. Dartmouth Nova Scotia Canada
will straighten all kinds of wheels.
Show up with Tyre removed and they will asses feasibility on the spot.
