If anyone needs it, I have a brand new, in the package, Laminar Lip
to fit K100RS & K1100RS. It fits over the OEM deflector with little
stick-on Velcro-type circles. It'd work well for tall blokes and short arses who want to block a bit o' the breeze.

I'd let it go for US$40 plus postage to wherever you are in K Bike Nirvana. This is a link to what it looks like, only in dark smoke tint:

I have the 'lip' new in its package here in OZ now. It's the dark tint version. Please lemme know if any of you fine gents would like it for the price above plus postage, preferably to OZ, but will consider overseas. Cheers.

Since there weren't any bites (not even a nibble after my recent re-posting) I decided to take it out of the package and give it a go. It uses four Dual-Lock (basically sturdier Velcro) press-on glue patches to adhere it to the upper fairing. There's quite a bit of range and with my height of 175cm (5' 9") and the relatively low main position of the Corbin seat in relation to the standard height of an original seat, I decided on a 25 - 30mm rise over the standard airfoil. The manufacturer kindly includes four extra Dual-Lock patches so I can stick 'em on and adjust the height up or down later on if I like.

So I went for a ride. I almost always wear earplugs. Yesterday I didn't as I forgot in my excitement to throw a leg over the bike after so long in storage. Today I didn't wear them either and the difference in wind noise is astounding after fitting the Laminar Lip. It was drizzly this morning and usually the wind blast will push the droplets aside on my helmet's visor. I noticed less of a tendency for the wind to move the raindrops as they stuck to my visor and stayed mainly in place where they landed. This alone proves that the wind's going above and around my helmet much more than before. I'll stick to earplugs, but reckon this Lip thingy is the goods. It looks OK too. I've just gotta use a bit more Plexus or paste wax on the visor to keep the water moving.
