I am in the process of making my new ish K100LT 87 into a really good beast and would like to fit a fuel guage and temp guage.

I have got hold of the instrument holder thing that sits just under the fairing screen and i can get hold of the two round instruments themselves.

But what do i plug them into..has anybody done this on here before or should i give up now?

Mike

An 87 bike will have the connections under the tank in preparation but you will need the temperature sender that connects to the oil/water pump housing.
