Can anyone tell me what is the purpose of the tower in the centre of the relay box on a K series bike? There does not seem to be any reason for it being there.

Does anyone know different, because I could find a use for that space!

Thanks in advance

Mounting spot for OEM add-on relays - like for driving/fog lights.

I see - I connected my relays near to the items they operate some time ago, so this 2 relay space is redundant.  I took a dremel and cut this tower thing off level with the floor of the box, then filled the hole with 2 part epoxy filler.  The big area I revealed was ideal to fit a Centech auxiliary fuse box.  The wiring system is now much tidier, and the aux fuses DRY.

regards
