Not sure where I read this but if you can reverse the polarity (switch the wires over) and give it a brief start up it may spit out rubbish if it is blocked. The filter could also be cactus, try undoing the in line and have a go at starting see if fuel goes through the pump.

Other than that I'm out of ideas. Could also be under tank 4 pin connector came loose, undo and redo it up again.
Good luck. (do that first actually might save a lot of hassle).

Mate, here are a few ideas that should get you out of trouble.
Step 1. Find a Ford wrecker.
Step 2. Read below.

Quote from Rick
The pump I am using in mine is an after market for a EA EB ED Falcon Multi point Sedan. Those cars run an L Jetronic system as do many other cars of the era
If you get a pump for an EA Falcon sedan with multipiont injection and use a big zip tie and pull it real tight it works like a charm and I got one on fleabay for $45. You need to change the connectors to the push on spade terminals.

The fuel pressure is 32 -33psi

Quote from Rendrag
Bit late to the thread, but just watned to add (since this thread comes up on ebay every time I search Fuel pump Icon_wink), that in AUstralia, these fuel pumps (readily available at most parts stores) are almost a drop-in replacement for the K100 fuel pump (Note: the 52mm one, not the smaller..)

AC-Delco EP118AU
Goss GE053
Fuel Miser FPE-287.

I dropped the Fuel Miser variant into the bike this evening - $125 from repco. It's 51mm instead of the 52, so i cut a length of fuel hose into 4, and used two of them wrapped around the fuel pump where the 'lumps' are on the OEM one, and it all fitted up beautifully Fuel pump Icon_smile

Remove the fuel cap to get at the innards then remove the fuel line that goes from the top of the pump to the filter at the filter and see if it pumps then  WARNING keep the fuel line facing into the tank if you get flow put your finger across the outlet and try it and if you can hold back the pressure easily then the pump is cactus (it should pump 65-70psi).
Try what RT said about the 4 pin connector they are noted for going O/C.

My advice is to check: 1. fuse 2. pump relay.
My problem was pump relay once, but i disasembled tank first and finally found problem in relay (after hour and half on parking lot). Relay is usually orange one in the corner of relay box (front left)

I'm not an interstate trucker
but I'll be in Nambucca
In the wonderful month of May

Alas I can't bring my bike
'cause I'll be working on a house
Much to my dismay

you blokes have fun and I'll catch you on the next one
