At some point I will be mounting an ex-police single seat on my K75 and I am hoping that someone can post some good photos of the seat in the hinged up position so I can get a good look at the hinges and mounting hardware.

I have the seat and items 3,6,7,8,9,22 in the parts sketch below. I may need to fabricate the other required bits unless someone has them surplus to requirements. My seat has the bracket for the folding support rivetted on further back than this sketch in a position that I think will line up with the stub on the frame where the dual seat support currently fits.

I will take some pictures of mine and post here. I don´t know when I´ll have the time, but it will be next Saturday at the latest. Extremely busy these day´s.

I had one on mine for a brief period and as far as I remember they mount just the same as the stock seat.

Hey gpguyer. Is this a police bike that is still in active service? You surely can´t drive it with allt the X-mas ligts installed. Could you post more pictures of it, or send me photos or link where I can see pictures. I have a 1990 K75RT Ex- Police bike with LT faring.

In New South Wales Australia we have a Police Historic vehicles Club and we have special licences issues by the Police Commissioner which enables us to possess and use these fully restored vehicles with conditions.  If you want more photos let me know and I will email them to you.
