Welcome Nick. Sun is out here as well. Regrettably, my boss has an unreasonable expectation of attendance at work. Have a great ride and keep the shiny side up! Very Happy

Did you buy your bike from eBay?  I seem to recall one with a similar colour scheme when I was looking to buy my K.

Hi Nick and welcome.

It's interesting that many of us get ourselves a K and then immediately set about tearing it down to replace everything the PO obviously neglected. I don't think we would ever buy cars the same way. Still, it's the best way to get to know the bike and with the help of this forum, just about anything is possible.

As you will have noted, the forum is truly international - for those that don't understand the "Triggers Broom" reference, hopefully the attached clip will make sense of it (from the cult UK TV show "Only Fools and Horses" where Trigger, a council road sweeper, was awarded the British Empire Medal for his services to the community sweeping the roads with his original broom)

Anyway - enjoy your new bike.
