Selling this to fund a new project and get some shed space back. Reasonable offers around $2500?

1991 K100 LT now naked. 156000km runs well. A little challenged cosmetically. 
NSW rego until January as a sidecar
Box type sidecar not fitted. Frame was originally a DJP but is now much modified.
Leading links, new brake lines to suit, steering damper
3 mounts for the K100 (lower two and upper rear, no upper front)
Collection of struts to go between the sidecar and the bike
In Inverell, northern NSW

I took this sidecar off last year and ran the bike as a solo for a while. The leading links and sidecar were on this bike before and it was registered in NSW like that, so no probs in NSW provided the rego isn't let lapse. Some mounts needed to be welded on the S/C frame.

when I feed the dog at night , I usually place his bowl on the ground in front of him and command him to stay, 
during this process he develops long shoestrings ( drool to be exact ). damn torture if you ask me.
right now to find your outfit up for a bargain price , I'm drooling.

If anybody is really interested but doesn't want to do the work I can reassemble it for you, but not until after I get back from my little trip to Alice Springs and beyond. Cost you more though. Cheers, Phil

Sean that looks very much like a DJP shell , but the wheel arch has been restyled , is that to accommodate the shockie. What colour have you chosen for the outfit ?

Well spotted, the Griffin is a DJP shape that's been modified.

 Bigger boot, bigger wheel size.  The often used mini 10" wheel can be difficult to get tyres for, sensible to move to a more readily available size.

Most sidecar bodies used here in OZ now appear to be derivatives of someone elses original. 

Most of SRKs bodies are based on old Premier designs (they bought them out), some modified DJP style and even an LH Tour Elite copy (which is derivative of EML in europe). Not sure where the Twin G comes from.

Our other main one - Highway sidecars in Mt Gambier do HRD, Higgins and DJP bodies.  They bought out HRDs jigs and moulds when Ron Hurdis died, Ron had already bought the rights to DJP at that stage.  His main mod to the DJP body was to enable the use of his chassis instead of having to make a different chassis.

Well, Waz and son Waz picked it up yesterday. Left with a ute load of stuff. Hope it works out well for him. I am now left with 3 "100"s. A K100, a R100 and an A100.

A fine choice for the gentleman tourer.

thats the one - nearly.   had an A80 when I was at school.  flat out at 42 mph, even my old man's A70 was faster, but not by much. The plan is to get the A100 going for this years Scrapheap ride in september, keeping as much as the original patina (read "rust") as possible.

One good hint with an A100 is to put a good air filter on it and they go like the klappers. They were very restricted on the original and we used to drill 12 x 1/2" holes around the back and bottom.

Rick, this is the extent of my knowledge.

Just made me think of something I was told many years ago.  If the extent of your knowledge was represented as a circle and what you know is contained that circle and what you don't know is just past the outer edge then, the more you know the more you don't know.

Hey I like that Rick, trouble with some people is thier always in the circle, and going 180 degrees forward, then back! so constantly going over covered ground, so knowledge never escapes  You know the old saying, I thought I was wrong once, then realized I was mistaken.

Yes it Col's, he has just had another operation on his hands, still can't make a fist yet but hoping this one will fix that.

Phil seemed OK last week, still in pain but healing

sounds like Col has had a long journey during the repair process , but at least not a lonely one , the guys here on the forum have helped add plenty of encouragement and support along the way . good that he is able to help you out Waz.
