Update: I called Motorworks, the fairing mount or spider IS different, but the panels and cockpit are the same on all k100rs versions. Re below, I reckon the spider is bent - or the wrong spider is fitted after the prang. I ordered a new one today.....
I've bought a 91 4valve RS. There's big gaps between the cockpit fairing and the black plastic fairing. My mechanic says although all is "straight",the bike was in a front collision & someone has fitted a 2 valve fairing, hence the gap. He's ex bmw- is he right here - can anyone confirm this?
