had a local butcher , his name " Gordon Legg of Legg's Butchery.

My grandmother had the same doctor.... we joked about his name behind his back , saying' what kind of doctor has a name like 'DEATH''....

overhearing he corrected us saying ''it's pronounced DE-ath !

He must have been legit, she survived her ordeal and lived to be 92.

30 years ago I worked in a BMW workshop with a large bloke named Richard Blow. He preferred to be called by the diminutive of his first name and no one argued with him.

When I was attending Univ. of Oregon there was a shooting near the gym where the football players worked out. One guy was hit by a wayward bullet. 

The guy's name was....Rick O'Shea.
