Hello.

The stock windshielf of my bike don't spoil enought the wind, that beats my head and produces an indesirable feeling.

I decided to use a 5 mm piece of acrylic to make one similar to the original but a little bit higher. I used the kitchen oven to heat de piece about 150-180 ºC an the original windshield as template.

This is the result:

   Homemade K75 Metropolitan windshield 1D54415F7F2F5402221D23540218D2

   Homemade K75 Metropolitan windshield 2254415F7B2A5402221828540218CE

The windshield is fixed to the instrument cluster, as the original, and here you can see them mounted on the bike:

Now, the wind don't beats my head.

   Regards.

That would be funny if it wasn't so close to the truth.
Hey punto I have already a smaller screen like the one you made, and have been trialling the use of the perspex lip from an original RT screen on it, just below the top lip. So far the results are excellent, with wind noise cut down a lot. I have a very noisy helmet, Shark brand.
I'll try and get a picture loaded on here for you soon.

Before, I had tried to make a wider winshield and I could test about bubbles.

Inge, what a complement, I haven't had that much hair since, well I can't remember.
Here's the screen, complete with scratches, and the lip is discoloured (discolored?) but it works a treat. I am (was)185cm with a couple of crushed vertebrae so not the tallest rider but find this setup really nice in warmer weather. Doesn't do much for rain unless you go very fast, and none of us do that, do we??? (daughter's a copper).
