Welcome from Wimbledon Common....haven't seen a Womble in years.
Must bring over a few leprechauns and introduce them.
More seriously, welcome to the forum and as you will find there is a wealth of technical knowledge, everyone is very helpful and we do enjoy a little banter and occasional meet ups.
Have a look on the home page, there is a section on what to do if you have just got a K. Ks are quite easy to maintain if you add in all the advice and information available here. What might seem like a horror story most of the time has a very simple and inexpensive solution, someone has always met it before.
Beware too, they attract mates so in time its likely to have a mate parked alongside. This is commonly referred to as K pox and its world wide. Although many people never meet face to face we do all enjoy the company on the forum.
If you feel like venturing forth you will be very welcome across here too.
When you have a few more posts pop up a photo, also if you put your VIN number in your signature it makes it easy to sort technical issues as there were lots of manufacturing changes over the lifespan. That will tell us if you have an 8 valve or 16 valve engine too.....

my rs is a 8v 1986 model
this is my 2nd k I had a k75 back in the mist of time think it was a 96 model I have a brain like a thing with holes in so i cant remember exactly.
I have also owned a few off the R series Beemers too.
I was a london courier for many yrs but used mainly kwaks during that time & kept my old R75 for fun.
As for mates my garage is full off catering equitment & stuff for my rally stall so no hope of any more bikes in there.
my drive already has my K the wifes intruder & my sons 125 & the car.

88KE and myself took the Ks to France in May for a camping trip, we met Bikerboy. His wife also rides a F800ST. Their hospitality was out of this world and their location near Perigueux is amazing. We had some nice rideouts with them.
88KE has a K100LT and it recently acquired a mate. A K75. I have been looking at K75s too. . . . .
