Hi,
The spark plugs on my recently started project (K100 RS) are really stuck and won't budge with the wrench I have. Any ideas?

Aluminum expand at a much lower temperature than steel.
Warm up your engine for just a minute and try it again. You must run the engine long enough to warm up the aluminum engine head trying not to have the heat transfered to the spark plug. This is hard!!!
Turn gently clockwise then counter clockwise and repeat the operation until the spark plug is off.
You could try to cool off the spark plug with a wet rag too.

First off try for a couple of days soaking the plug thread with PB Blaster each day it is an excellent penetrating oil, Aero Kroil is almost as good. I would also consider using an impact gun to deliver a series of sharp raps to the plug when you are finally trying to unsrcew them, start at a low setting and slowly increase the impact setting until the break free.

Hi all,

I removed the engine cover for easier access and used some penetrating oil on the plugs. I gave them a gentle but intentional tap with a drift and they came free after a bit of effort - no damage done to the threads!
