I use a zenon HID head lamp. though its bright, it seems the headlight lens does not focus the beam on the road but spreads the light.
Any help?

The headlight is designed to use a H-4 bulb and nothing else.
If you search the net this is a common problem when doing this conversion.
It also disturbs oncomming vehicles.

For a HID light to work properly it needs the correct reflector and lens.  The light source of a H4 is about the size of a grain if wheat where the light source of a HID is the size of a marble so the light does not reflect properly and the lens cant break up the low beam so it only shines to the correct side of the road.

Try one of Eastern Beaver's headlight relay kits which allow 'all' of the available power to go to the globe which makes it more efficient which in turn makes it brighter.

There is a thread on the HID conversion but you have to change the reflector as well.

As suggested adding relays works much better especially if you use a higher wattage bulb.

Don't be tempted to use LED bulb, that doesn't work either.

Just fitted one of these in the last week or so, it made a big difference to the standard H4 globes.
I tried a 50 plus , was OK but this sure helps.

Am currently midway through installing a set of Cree 10w driving lights for added noticeability.

doing well so far Charlie , I'd recommend to anyone for semi open road venturing . For further afield such as the open plains of Africa or the Nullabor , more research is required.
My first test was on the Hunter expressway, I left them on high beam and didn't appear to worry the oncoming traffic. no one flashed back at me affraid.
