Final shaft oil change

Hi Everyone,

just to check, what oil should we be using to change. I read in some where that Engine Oil is ok. 10w 50. Or we should use gearbox transmittion oil? Thanks in advance for the help. Found some metal chips in another K100rs year 83 when we drianed the final shaft oils out. What is the advice?

The workshop manual and rider's handbook specify GL-5 gear oil 75W90 in the gearbox and final drive. DO NOT USE ENGINE OIL.
Best to use mineral but synthetic is available.
