Need some help with this. I have noticed after the engine is up to operating temp, there is a huffing/puffing/sucking noise (think of a steam engine) at RPM's above 1000. It doesn't seem to affect performance just want to make sure there is nothing serious. She's an 85 k100rt/96xxx

Any help is appreciated.

Next time you are working on your bike or going for a ride, get the engine running to where you start hearing the noise and find out a more precise area of the bike it's coming from please. Left/right side? Upper/lower area of the engine?

Get back to us.
