Just curious: Anybody else noted the inside of Beru spark plug caps breaking? When I pulled the plugs on my new used 1991 K100RS 16-valve it took a REALLY hard pull to get the spark plug caps off, and I noted a fragment of the inside collar and a small "D"-shaped clip loose in one of them... That particular plug cap is now MUCH easier to put on and pull off than the rest, but it seems to have worked fine for a few thousand miles now. Any experience with this or concerns? Thanks!

Hi Simon,
This is the only place I let silicone compounds touch my bike I give the spark plug caps a good spray inside and allow them to dry. I do that each time I take them off as it stops the rubber from sticking to the porcelain insulator.
Regards,
