In the past, if I clicked 'send' on a reply and another reply had been made while I was typing mine, I would get a message showing me the intervening post and asking did I still want to post. 

Earlier today, and I think one other time recently, this didn't happen.

Has there been a change in the operating parameters?

AS far as I know, there has been no change Bill. I just posted to Dave's 'Calling all cars' thread and got that warning so it's still working. It could be that if you click the Quote button that you don't notice another post below. This has happened to me a few times.
