Hi all,

Today, I decided I had to get the bike running!

When I tried the injectors were still blocked and it wouldn't fire up.

I took them out again and gave them an unceremonious tap or 9 with a hammer!

I then got the engine to run and it sounded/felt smooth. The noise I reported before stopped and I was able to ride round the car park... No rear brake yet but hey I was chuffed!

Next jobs: rear brake, oil and collant change and whatever else I can find. needs repainting too but will focus on the mechanical first.

Best,
Neal bounce

Keep the faith and the paint job will be the final cherry on the tree. I did not realise you could use a hammer on litltle itsey bitsey bits like the injectors. Was it a club hammer or pin hammer?
Cheers

Hi,
I used a rubber mallet and then a claw hammer - not really heavy blows, just intentional, but I just thougt I'd try it as if they didn't unblock it was gonna be £25 each for used ones. The faith was there and it paid off.
Cheers,
Neal
