I'll skip the details but let's just say that this was early in my riding career and I learned about target fixation the hard way.

Before (after recently having the fairing nicely redone after finding some sand at a stop  sign):

Okay, I'll play.  This was last November when I got rear ended by a woman doing 75mph when I was slowing down to pull off an expressway.Morbid curiosity thread - let's see your Krash pictures! At_the10

mmm ...seems Duck and Point-Seven-five both have the same issue...don't slow down for stop signs, and don't slow down to pull off an expressway.. slowing down ...only brings you to grief..just twist it and go >>>> Very Happy

I'm not riding any of my bikes in November 2019!! I don't bounce well anymore and don't like suddenly stopping and going through the screen - it hurts almost as much as the tarmac!

Oh well... I'll bite as well.
The bike before: 1985 K100RT with homemade sidecar, chassis based on a Dusting. Unfortunately it had been sitting around since the 1980s and metal fatigue had begun to play a role.Morbid curiosity thread - let's see your Krash pictures! Sam_1910

This photo is pretty well know here to long time members. Trundling along a back road here near Guyra one day at about 80kmh the main bottom mounting broke, sending myself, Bella and the gf at the time, Anna Katharina, off for a brief excursion into the bush. We managed to park between two gumtrees and have a bit of a lie down. I got stuck between the bike and the sidecar and broke a couple of ribs. Anna Katharina decided to photograph proceedings before I managed to lever myself out. Anna Kathariona was not to remain ther GF for long after this.

I ended up crashing ti again on Thunderbolts Way when another mounting point broke half way into a downhill righthander. This time I broke 6 ribs and an AC joint. Bella escaped without injury again thank doG and we both had an ambulance ride into Newcastle where Kerry came and picked her up and took her home to her place. With a head full of morphine I blurted out: " I love you and am going to marry you one day!" After a relationship of about 3 minutes. Smithy helped me get the bike back to Guyra and after that it became black and naked with the help of the very kind members on here, which I liked best and the new project will be a naked bike as well. Kerry married me and we all lived happily ever after, buying more motorcycles and fostering animals who take over the house.

I've just came back from a ride out doing a bit of temperature testing. On my way home on an 80 KPH road minding my own business. Next minute blam a kamikaze bird comes out of the bushes head on takes out my windscreen completely ripping it off. The liberated screen then slams into my head, luckily I had no one close behind. Result one broken screen small scar on helmet and new undies required. Morbid curiosity thread - let's see your Krash pictures! 61740 I am thankful that the little mongrel didn't hit me in the throat or that I had my visor open.

Regards Martin

May 2016.
My son and I were hauling our trailer ( kart ) along the local freeway .
A tin topper , thought he would try his luck for a second time in six months . Took us out from the rear at 100kmh.
His previous attempt was with a full sized semi trailer, from the rear.
