I need to replace my finall drive (I open it and tooths were broken in few places) in my K100 1984. But it is very rare to find 16 tooths spline instead of 20. What I must change to replace with 20 final drive? It is only shaft or the spline in gearbox is also changed from 16 to 20 tooths?

The spline at the gearbox is the same for all models.
